A Window to the Fatherland

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

Yesterday we talked about how during the administration of Mohammad Khatami a relative democracy returned to Iran and under his culture minister Ataullah Mohajerani many “forbidden books” were published.

We appreciate Mohajerani’s then works but reject his current political stance, which are completely opposite to his previous one.

He has tweeted and said “Trump lovers” have been “upset” after the US president’s recent comments about negotiating with the current rulers of Iran.

Mohajerani has also slammed Prince Reza Pahlavi for supposedly being in favor of foreign powers interfering in the affairs of our country or even waging a war against Iran.

As far as we know, Prince Reza Pahlavi has been among the first people to oppose any intervention of foreign powers in Iran, that being political or military, and has repeatedly asked the Iranian people to rely on their own power to remove the regime and rebuild their country.

In fact the true “Trump lovers” are the close friends and associates of Mr Mohajerani who are frequenting the US centers of power in Washington and desperately asking for American politicians to be soft on the regime and enter negotiations with it.

The most Reza Pahlavi has done has been to meet one or two Senators and informing them of the calamities that the regime that Mohajerani supports has broughtonto Iran and the Iranians.

The likes of Reza Pahlavi who live in exile and are doing their best to help their people to have a better future are different from Mohajerani’s friends who have stolen millions of dollars of our people’s money and fled from persecution and are living in their majestic villas in Western countries.

In the coming days there will be three conferences in Saudi Arabia to deal with the current crisis in the Middle East and the Iran problem.

The Saudis have in the past done their best to sort out their differences with the Iranian regime but all their efforts have failed because this is a regime that survives on creating crisis after crisis.
