A Window to the Fatherland

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr Alireza Nourizadeh:

Ahmadinejad has sent a Nowruz message as if he is still a president. He has hoped for a bright and prosperous future for the Iranian people in his message.

One must ask him how dare he sits under the portraits of Khomeini and Khamenei and still wishes the best for our people when himself and his masters have brought so much miseries onto the Iranians.

If he has any guts and is serious in his opposition to the regime, why does he not give an interview to one of the many opposition satellite TV stations? I for one would be happy to provide him with that platform.

Khamenei has used his Nowruz message to attack the European countries. He has called the EU’s support for the nuclear deal “a joke”.

What does he expect from the Europeans when he sends his terrorists to assassinate and bomb Iranian opposition people in European capitals?

He has threatened to renew Iran’s uranium enrichment program. But the facilities have been turned into scrap metals following the nuclear deal and he knows very well that the Western powers will call his bluff.

Khamenei has been instrumental in giving millions of dollars of cash to Hamas to buy out their loyalty but they have now turned their guns against the Palestinian people.

Rouhani has once again sent a deceptive Nowruz message by claiming in the new Persian year he and his cabinet will bring economic relief to the Iranians, while blaming other countries for Iran’s woes.
