A Window to the Fatherland

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

We continue the program with a look at the statement of Bahram Ghassemi, the spokesman for Iranian regime’s Foreign Ministry, about the arrest of Assdulah Assadi, an Iranian diplomat based in regime’s embassy in Austria, who has been accused of involvement in a plot to bomb the gathering of Mujaheddin in Paris on Saturday.

If we compare the characteristics of the previous Iranian diplomats with those who replaced them after the Islamic revolution, we can see how the current regime chooses terrorists and executioners to dispatch them to its embassies around the world and when they are caught red handed while carrying their vicious terrorist missions then the Foreign Ministry enters the scene and unashamedly denies their actions.

The regime has claimed that this arrest has come to overshadow Rouhani’s official trip to Austria, forgetting that the arrest was made on Monday and Rouhani has not even arrived in Austria.

Ghassemi has also suggested that the Mujaheddin themselves have been behind the bombing plot of their own gathering!!

People in the province of Khuzestan have been angered by the discovery that the regime has been pumping the waters of Karoon River to Iraq while they are suffering from shortage of drinking water.

Now the news is that the water shortage crisis has reached the city of Zanjan as we can see in a video clip in which a young Iranian Arab and a mother tell us about their sufferings because of the crisis.

And when people like our colleague Dr. Hossein Bor call for decentralization of power in Iran so the people of Sistan and Baluchestan could elect their own representatives some people yell that he is after partition of Iran!

In the second part of the program we will discuss the trip to Moscow by John Bolton to arrange the forthcoming meeting between Presidents Trump and Putin where the question of Syria and the presence of Iranian regime’s forces will dominate their talks.

An Iranian Majles deputy has said that the Russians are backstabbing Iran. One needs to remind this MP that the Russians have always backstabbed us but sadly Mr. Khamenei is in love with Moscow and he cannot help it!!

In the last part of the program we will watch a video clip about the arson attack on the Golshahr Market in the city of Karaj and find out who is behind it.

Stay with us for this edition of A Window to the Fatherland and share it with your family and friends.
