A Window to the Fatherland

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

We will continue the program with wishing our legendary singer Googoosh a happy 70th birthday. She has been performing for an amazing period of 6o year and he popularity had been such that when the Tajik poet Mrs. Glorokhsar met with former president Mohammad Khatami in Tehran she told him that the Tajik people wished to meet Googoosh during her trip instead of receiving a book on the life of Khomeini.

However, while we celebrate Googooshe’s birthday we are also mourning the death of Nasser Cheshmazar, the legendary Iranian musician and songwriter who passed away on Friday.

We will continue the program with watching a video clip in which a charlatan mullah talks about the events of 1400 years ago in Karbala to take away the minds of his audience from the miseries that the Islamic regime has brought onto our people in this day and age.

We will also cover the latest news of the ongoing struggle of the Iranian people in the Kurdish cities of Baneh, Javanshir and Piranshahr where our brave compatriots are fighting very many discriminations of the despotic regime. We can only salute them from a distance and offer our support for their struggle.

In the second part of the program our senior correspondent Mohammad Reza Shaheed will be reporting from the Canne Film festival where the film ‘Eevryone Knows”, the latest movie made by the Iranian director Asghar Farhadi will be screened as on the opening day.

Another Iranian renowned filmmaker Jaffar Panahi had requested to travel to the Canne Festival but the Islamic republic regime has banned him from leaving the country.

And in the final part of the program we will be looking at the Lebanese elections where Hezbollah and its political allies have won just over half the seats in country’s parliamentary election, according unofficial results so far.

It must however be said that even this result has been achieved through some of the most satanic tactics of the Hezbollah who take their orders from the big dictator of Iran, Ali Khamenei. In one single transaction he has given the Hezbollah more than $50million to spend on its campaign advertisings.

Stay with us for this edition of A Window to the Fatherland and share it with your family and friends.
