A Window to the Fatherland

At the beginning of tonight’s program of A Window to the Fatherland we will listen to a poem by Dr Alireza Nourizadeh in memory of Neda Agha Soltan and then we will watch a video clip of how an Azeri child is being taught how to learn the names of Shia Imams.

Later we will have a discussion about the characteristics of the Iranian clerics before their rise to power and how they have turned into a bunch of bloody thirsty, corrupt and despotic people once they achieved their religious government. And in this regard we will play a short film in which a mullah talks about his life style in pre and post Islamic revolution in Iran.

In the second part of the program we will take you through the latest news and current affairs of the Middle East region with a focus on the Qatar crisis and the Iraqi Prime Minister Al Ebadi’s trip to Tehran.

Stay with us for this edition of A Window to the Fatherland and share this program with your friends and relatives.

We look forward to hearing your views and comments about the issues covered in tonight’s program.
