A Window to the Fatherland

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

We continue the program with paying tribute to the memory of our long-standing journalist colleague the late Nasser Mohammadi who passed away yesterday.
Once again the mourning month of Muharram has started and the hypocrites in Iran have begun to repeat their lies and deceptive sermons for the public to justify their own religious dictatorship, trying to make us believe that the foreign plot that brought them into power mixed with the betrayal of people like general Fardoust were the “wishes of the almighty” so they could continue with the story of Karbala of 1200 years ago.
The Arabs never practiced such mourning and wailing acts in the early days of Islam and it is a business that the Shia clerics have invented as a means of extracting money from the public by making them cry during the months of Muharram and Safar.
Khamenei used to receive cash and foods for his sermons during the Muharram in the pre-Islamic revolution time when he was nothing more than a simple mullah, before becoming the absolute and despotic ruler of the country.
And yesterday we saw how Rouhani performed his true job by giving sermon to the weeping members of his cabinet instead of exposing how the Revolutionary Guard and Khamenei’s office have destroyed Iran’s economy, while the rest of the country watched them in disbelief.
Once again we salute the people of Kurdistan for their heroic protest action by closing down their businesses for the second day in condemnation of the execution of three young Kurds.
Ahmadinejad has been speaking against the prison sentences for his former deputies by saying that soon there will be a long queue of the regime’s officials and executioners to appear at the people’s courts of justice to answer for their crimes against the Iranians.
It means even Ahmadinejad has concluded that this tyrannical regime does not have a future. And this is the same Ahmadinejad whom Khamenei supported against the will of the Iranian people back in 2009 by saying that his ideas and policies are so close to his own and he is a “true servant of the people and a revolutionary”!!
In the second part of the program we will look at the tweet of Sadegh Kharrazi about the regime’s latest provocative missile firing tests.
The head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce has confessed that if the economic crisis in Iran continues for another three months the country will face starvation and famine.
I have heard in Washington that the Trump administration will not settle for anything less than the removal of the Islamic republic regime and this will be his winning card for his re-election in 2010.
