Born in Bombay, India, Anish Kapoor is a British sculptor and a leading conceptual artist.
He represented Britain in the Venice Biennale in 1990 and was awarded the Premio Duemila Prize. In 1991 he received the Turner Prize.
Anish Kapoor’s works are mainly based on structures made out of curvatures.
